Everyone knows that the sale or purchase of a home requires some negotiations. The first thing that comes to mind is the price. However, most transactions involve additional negotiation of terms involving inspection period, closing dates, who pays for closing costs, after inspection requests, and a number of other items. Since this is such a crucial part of a contract I spend a great deal of time studying negotiation tactics so that I know when to go hard and when to employ finesse to meet my customer’s needs right from the opening offer until the sale closes.
