Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)

Florida is a destination place for second homes.  Americans who want a warm place to winter have found Florida to be highly desirable for over 100 years.  That appeal has reached a global audience as well.  A full 25% of all real estate transactions in Sarasota and Manatee Counties are made by international buyers.  At some point, those same people become international sellers. Being familiar with the special laws in place to manage taxes, what needs to be disclosed to the other parties concerning international real estate transactions, and even managing the transfer of international money to be used during the purchase process takes special skills. In order to help both international customers, and local customers that may have an international customer on the other side of a transaction was extremely important so that no matter who my customer is, the transaction goes smoothly.
